Experience getting into a time machine and going back to the 1980s when you play this 5-reel, 15-payline slot offering from Novomatic. This game is, in fact, a remake of a 1988 game that became hugely popular in Dutch casinos back in the day. But though this slot brings back memories of the olden days of traditional slot machines, the developer has managed to create a good balance with new features that make the game highly interesting.

Gameplay begins with setting your bets. You can start by clicking on the Lines +/- tabs to set the number of lines you want to play. You may then click on the Bet/Line +/- tabs to set the amount you want to wager per payline on every spin. To set the reels into motion, click on the Start tab at the rightmost end of the control panel. If you want the reels to spin automatically, click on the Autoplay tab at the leftmost end of the control panel.

Feature Symbols

You will not find any of the usual playing card symbols in this game. All base game symbols are reminiscent of classic slot machines. From the lowest to the highest in value, you will see familiar fruit symbols, which include an orange, a pear, a strawberry, a slice of watermelon, a plum, and a bunch of grapes. You will also see non-fruit symbols commonly seen in fruit machines. There’s a golden cowbell, the red lucky 7, and a blue-and-white star.

The game has no special symbols, but special symbols aren’t really necessary as all base game features are triggered by the standard game symbols themselves.

Bonus Rounds

One interesting feature this game has to offer involves the orange, plum, lemon, and cowbell symbols, plus the star. You will notice that these symbols would sometimes appear on the reels with the star symbol on top of them. If you manage to land at least three of these symbols on an active payline, you will be rewarded with prize values that are the same as the value of the star symbol combinations. Note that the star symbol is the game’s most lucrative symbol, potentially rewarding you with 5,000 times your wager. A combination of five symbols with the star on top of them will, therefore, reward you with the same amount.

The game also has the familiar Gamble feature. Every time you land a winning combination, you will be given the option of whether to collect your prize or gamble it. If you choose to gamble, you will be taken to a mini-game where you will need to guess the colour of the next playing card to be drawn. If you guess correctly, your prize will be doubled and the mini-game will continue. You have the chance to make as many as five correct guesses. If you guess wrong, however, the mini-game will end and you will lose your total prize for that round.
