Gameplay begins with setting your bets. You may start by clicking on the Lines +/- tabs to set the number of lines you want to play. You may then click on the Bet/Line +/- tabs to set the amount you want to wager per active payline. To set the reels into motion, click on the Start tab at the rightmost end of the control panel. If you want the reels to spin automatically, click on the Autoplay tab at the leftmost end of the control panel.

Feature Symbols

You will not see any of the usual playing card symbols in this game, as all base game symbols are reminiscent of classic land-based slot machines, instead. There are eight symbols in total. From the lowest to the highest in value, the symbols are represented by cherries, a lemon, an orange, a plum, half of a watermelon, a golden cow bell, and the lucky red 7.

The game does not have a Wild symbol, but the quick pace somehow makes the presence of a Wild quite unnecessary, although it would have certainly been a welcome addition. The game does have a Scatter symbol, and it is represented by the golden star. This symbol pays out on its own, regardless of where they land on the reels. It is also key to the game’s one and only bonus feature.

Bonus Rounds

As mentioned above, the game only has one bonus round to speak of, and that is triggered by the golden star Scatter symbol. Every time you land at least three Scatter symbols anywhere on the reels, those symbols will trigger a big win. And this is where the ‘mystery’ in the title comes into play. You will not know exactly what the value of the win is until you trigger this bonus feature. If you manage to land five Scatter symbols, or five lucky red 7s, you will be rewarded with the game’s jackpot prize.

The game also has the familiar Gamble feature. Every time you land a winning combination, you will be given the option of whether to collect your prize or gamble it. If you choose to gamble, you will be taken to a mini-game where you will need to guess the colour of the next playing card to be drawn. If you guess correctly, your prize will be doubled and the mini-game will continue. You can have a maximum of five correct guesses. If you guess wrong, however, the mini-game will end and you will lose your total prize for that round.
