Jeopardy! was one of the most popular television game shows in the 1980s, and it’s probably one of the most popular TV shows of all time. It therefore comes as no surprise that an online slot has been developed in its honor. This 5-reel, 40-payline slot from IGT is just as exciting as the game show that inspired it. And it shouldn’t be too long before you get to play this game on mobile devices, too.

Gameplay begins with setting your bets. You may start by clicking on the green arrow to the left of the reels. You may then click on the +/- Coin Value tabs to set your preferred coin denomination from 1.00 to 100.00. To set the reels into motion, you may then click on the Spin button to the right of the reels. Feature Symbols

You will not see any of the familiar playing card symbols in this game, as all base game symbols are theme-related. If you’ve ever watched the TV show, then you’ll know that some of the game symbols are category icons from the show. You’ll see the icons for world, film, science, music, and sports. You will also see two female members of the Clue Crew, as well as Art Fleming and Alex Trebek.

The game’s Wild symbol is represented by the Jeopardy! Logo. It can substitute for any of the other base game symbols to help you land winning combinations, with the exception of the Scatter or Bonus symbol. The Scatter symbol is represented simply by the word “bonus” in bold, gold print. This symbol is key to the game’s main bonus feature.

Bonus Rounds

The game has a special feature called Wild Rush. Whenever you land a Wild symbol anywhere on the reels, there is a possibility of more Wild symbols being spawned below that first symbol. This gives you better chances of landing a winning combination with the help of a Wild substitution. This special feature is also active in the game’s main bonus round.

The game’s main bonus round is the familiar Free Spins feature. It is activated when you land at least two Scatter symbols anywhere on the third reel. You will be rewarded with as many as 11 free spins, plus a 6x multiplier for two Scatter symbols. If you land three Scatter symbols, you get up to 13 free spins, plus an 11x multiplier. Landing four Scatter symbols will get you as many as 19 free spins, plus a 12x multiplier.

You will be shown a Jeopardy! Grid just like the one in the TV show. You will then get to choose from the 30 grid positions to reveal the exact number of free spins and the amount of multiplier you get. The number of grid positions you get to choose will depend on the number of Scatter symbols you landed to trigger the bonus round. Two symbols allow you to pick three grid positions, three symbols let you choose four grid positions, and four Scatter symbols allow you to pick five grid positions.

If you’re lucky enough to uncover the Daily Double symbol, you will get an extra pick. You also have the opportunity to get an extra Wild or a completely Wild reel on the third and fourth columns of the grid.
